HP has launched its latest Chromebook notebook in India – the HP Chromebook x360 14a. The all-new Chromebook sports 2-in-1 design. The laptop is powered by Intel Celeron processor and is priced under Rs 30,000. The new Chromebook from HP appears to be an Intel variant of the Chromebook x360 14a that launched with an AMD 3015Ce processor last year at Rs 32,999. The model is currently available at around Rs 27,990. It offers 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage.

The Intel-powered HP Chromebook x360 14a has launched at Rs 29,999. It comes in three colour options: Mineral Silver, Ceramic White and Forest Teal. The Chromebook will go on sale through the company’s offline and online retail channels across the country in the coming days.

The HP Chromebook x360 14a features an x360 hinge with a 14-inch HD Touch Display and a screen-to-body ratio of 81%. The company claims that it can be turned into full-sized laptop. The display is same as in the AMD varaint of the Chromebook. It features a fanless design for a quieter, more comfortable computing experience and weighs about 1.49kg.
The HP Chromebook x360 14a comes with a full-size keyboard with the Google “Everything” Key for easy access to search and several keyboard shortcuts. For video calls, it supports a wide vision HD Camera (88°) and supports Wi-Fi 5. The HP Chromebook x360 14a comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage. Buyers will get 100GB of Google One cloud storage access for one year with the device. HP claims that this Chromebook’s battery life can go up to 14 hours.
The all-new addition to the Chromebook portfolio is especially targeted at students. According to the company, HP Chromebook x360 14a is designed to meet the needs of school students aged 4 to 15.
