Google Pixel Watch may come in three variants

NEW DELHI: It seems that the launch of the first Google Pixel Watch is right around the corner as in the past few weeks we have seen numerous leaks hinting towards it. The tech giant has not yet confirmed anything about its first smartwatch, but the wearable has not been spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification website.
The SIG listing suggests that Google is working on three models of Pixel Watch. As per the certification website, Pixel Watch will reportedly come in three variants with model numbers — GWT9R, GBZ4S, and GQF4C. The listing also reveals that the upcoming wearable will come with Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity.
Recently, Google also filed an application to get the phrase “Pixel Watch” trademarked.Till now, the rumoured Google smartwatch was known by its internal codename ‘Rohan’. According to the latest tweet by tipster Evan Blass, the launch of Pixel Rohan is imminent. Although the tipster has not revealed any specific timeline for the launch, another tipster Jon Prosser last month claimed that the company may launch the device at Google I/O 2022. The annual conference is scheduled to be held on May 11-12.
