Microsoft is updating its Your Phone app to offer better calling experience on Windows 11

The Your Phone app on Windows 11 is getting a new calling experience. The company has confirmed that the Your Phone app will receive a new update with Windows 11 build 22533 which will improve the calling experience.
The update is all about updating visuals of the calling screen of the Your Phone app. The update brings visual refresh to the call dialogue of the app and a new user interface for the ongoing calling popup window with new design, icons, fonts, etc.
The whole design refresh puts the Your Phone app in-line with the current theme of Windows 11 users interface.
It is also important to note that the overall functionality related to calling will remain the same as before.
Also note that the updated Your Phone app is currently available for Windows Insider Preview members who have installed the latest build of Windows 11 operating system.
As of now, it isn’t clear when Microsoft will roll out the updated Your Phone app for non-Insider Windows 11 users.
For those unaware, Microsoft recently updated the Your Phone app to offer a better user experience. The app has received the new design treatment like other first-party apps to meet the design and aesthetics of the Windows 11 operating system.
The app now features the new Windows 11 rounded corners, new colour palette and an updated user interface.
As a part of design revamp, Microsoft has changed the position of the bar to the top that allowed users to access photos, apps, calls and messages. In addition, the notifications panel is now pinned towards the left side of the app.
Feature-wise, things are exactly the same. Users can connect their Android phone with the app and use it to access messages, apps, notifications, calls and photos from the smartphone right on their Windows 11 PC.
