OnePlus might be looking to expand its Nord series with a new smartphone. The company recently launched the OnePlus Nord 2 CE Lite smartphone in India. Now, Thailand’s NBTC has reportedly certified another OnePlus device called the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G. Rumours about another OnePlus Nord series device have been doing rounds on the internet and a recent report in GSMArena claims the NBTC certification for the handset. However, there are no specs details revealed in the certification. But some earlier speculations claim that the device will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G smartphone has received Thai certification, so it is not clear if the device will launch in India. There are chances that the phone may be region-specific considering India recently saw the launch of first OnePlus smartphone under Rs 20,000, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite priced at Rs 19,999 onwards.
OnePlus Nord 2T 5G expected specifications
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G smartphone is expected to feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that might support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset coupled with a Mali G77 graphics unit.
The handset might boast a triple rear camera setup that will include — a 50MP primary camera (might be Sony IMX766 sensor), an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Meanwhile, the phone may house a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G smartphone will pack a 4500mAh battery and may support 80W fast charging. The handset is supposed to run on OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. The upcoming phone is expected to retain the alert slider which was omitted in the recently launched OnePlus 10R.
However, the company has not confirmed any details about the upcoming handset. The NBTC certification hints that OnePlus is likely to unveil the upcoming phone soon.
