NEW DELHI: Vivo Pad is official now. Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has finally launched its much-teased Android tablet. Dubbed Vivo Pad, the company launched the tablet in China along with its first foldable smartphone. The Android tablet from Vivo sports an 11-inch 2.5K display and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Vivo Pad sports an aluminium body and is backed by an 8040mAh battery.
Vivo Pad comes in black and blue colour options and its price starts at 2,299 yuan (Rs 27,385). The company has also introduced a stylus and keyboard with the tablet priced at 349 yuan (Rs 4,155) and 599 yuan (Rs 7,135) respectively. Vivo has not yet revealed any details about the global launch and availability of the tablet.
Vivo Pad specifications
Vivo Pad features an 11-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and comes with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. The Android tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Vivo Pad packs 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. The device runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OriginOS HD.
Vivo Pad sports a dual rear camera with a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The rear camera also supports 4K recording. The tablet also houses an 8MP front camera for video calling.
Vivo Pad comes with quad-speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The Android tablet is backed by an 8040mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Vivo Pad can be attached to an external magnetic keyboard and it also comes with stylus support.
